Stainless steel seamless pipe combines pressure strength with corrosion resistance. Grades 304 and 304L are used for general chemical, food and water service, while 316 and 316L add molybdenum for better resistance to chlorides, acids and marine environments. ASTM A312 is the standard for seamless and welded austenitic stainless pipe.
Protek Pipes supplies seamless stainless pipes in annealed and pickled condition, in standard schedules and cut lengths. Mill test certificates showing chemical and mechanical properties are available on request, and PMI testing can be arranged for critical projects.

Ask usWhat is the difference between 304L and 316L stainless pipe?
316L contains molybdenum, which improves resistance to pitting and chloride corrosion. 304L is a good general purpose grade, while 316L is chosen for marine, chemical and coastal environments. The L grades have low carbon, which helps weldability.
Do you supply annealed and pickled pipe?
Yes. Seamless stainless pipe is normally supplied annealed and pickled. Other finishes can be discussed when you send your requirement.
Can you provide PMI and test reports?
Mill test certificates are available on request, and positive material identification (PMI) or third party inspection can be arranged for projects that require it.
